This year's Notte Bianca, set to take place on Saturday, 5 October, promises an exciting array of activities throughout Valletta. The announcement was made by Minister for National Heritage, Arts, and Local Government Owen Bonnici, alongside Festivals Malta, who unveiled the vibrant lineup.

Bonnici highlighted that this edition will feature over 50 activities, showcasing the talents of approximately 250 local and international artists. “A great effort is made to have a variety of activities appealing to all ages, adding further value to our country's culture,” he said, expressing gratitude to Festivals Malta and collaborators for their dedication to promoting artistic heritage.

Festivals Malta Chairman Aaron Zahra emphasized Notte Bianca's significance within their portfolio, which includes numerous cultural events aimed at diverse audiences. “We are pleased that this cultural festival continues to grow each year in production, organization, and the quality of artistic presentations. Our commitment remains to ensure Notte Bianca's enduring success,” Zahra stated.

Festivals Malta CEO Frans Agius elaborated on the festival's focus this year, emphasizing local productions. “Notte Bianca provides a platform for local artists to showcase their talents, with many original works created specifically for this event. This reflects the dedication of our artists and their connection to our cultural landscape,” Agius noted.

Artistic Director Antoine Farrugia detailed the thoughtful design behind this year's program. “Variety is key in our approach. We strive to present a diverse lineup that appeals to children, youths, adults, and seniors alike,” he explained. This year also sees the reintroduction of themed routes, allowing attendees to navigate the festival more effectively and discover projects that resonate with them.
